Definition of Liquid Backpressure Regulator
Liquid backpressure regulators are used to precisely control the upstream pressure of pipeline systems, preventing flow instability caused by siphoning, gravity flow, or pressure fluctuations.
Main Functions of Liquid Backpressure Regulator
Pressure Maintenance: Locks in the preset pressure value to prevent upstream pressure fluctuations from affecting system stability.
Anti-siphoning/Overload Protection: Eliminates flow fluctuations caused by gravity or siphoning, and automatically relieves pressure in case of overpressure.
Applicable Media: Gases, liquids (including corrosive liquids and high-purity fluids), especially suitable for high-purity fields such as chemical engineering, water treatment, and food and pharmaceutical industries.
Structural Design of Liquid Backpressure Regulator
1. Spring Piston/Diaphragm Composite Type: The piston structure withstands high pressure, while the diaphragm enhances sensitivity, solving the problems of wear in pure piston structures or poor pressure resistance of pure diaphragms. It is normally open and achieves rapid response (25) by sensing pressure changes in the backpressure chamber.
2. Air Chamber Pilot-Operated Type (High-Precision Model): The air chamber design improves pressure control accuracy by 5 times compared with spring-type regulators, and supports remote control via electric proportional regulators.
