1:Definition of High-Pressure Needle Valve:
A high-pressure needle valve is a precision control valve suitable for high-pressure fluid systems (e.g., hydraulic, petroleum, chemical industries). Its core function is to accurately regulate or shut off small flows of high-pressure media, featuring high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, reliable sealing, and high flow control precision.
2:Working Principle of High-Pressure Needle Valve:
Control is achieved through the precise cooperation of a needle-shaped valve core and a tapered valve seat. When the handwheel is rotated, the valve core moves along the axis, changing the gap with the valve seat: a larger gap increases media flow, while a smaller gap reduces flow; when the valve core is fully attached to the valve seat, the valve closes to block media circulation. The needle-shaped core enables fine adjustment of micro-flows, meeting the precise control needs of high-pressure working conditions.
3:Structure of High-Pressure Needle Valve:
It mainly consists of five key components:
Valve Body Material: 316ss, 316L, Hastelloy, Monel alloy;
Needle-Shaped Valve Core: Cemented carbide or stainless steel;
Tapered Valve Seat: High sealing precision;
Handwheel: Aluminum alloy or stainless steel;
Sealing Element: PTFE or metal seal.

Maximum Working Pressure: 10000psi
Applications: Suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, and frequent on-off scenarios; applicable to corrosive gases and liquids compatible with the valve material.
Structure Type: Transmission thread is outside the packing, offering good high-temperature and pollution resistance.
Stem Seal: Dual protection of packing seal and fluororubber O-ring seal.
Valve Core Structure: Non-rotating valve core made of super-hard alloy, ensuring long service life.

Packing Seal: Graphite-reinforced PTFE for standard type; graphite for high-temperature type.

5:Selection of High-Pressure Needle Valve:
System Pressure: The selected rated pressure should be 1.2-1.5 times higher than the system working pressure to avoid damage due to overpressure;
Medium Characteristics: Choose 316 stainless steel valve body for corrosive media, and metal seal structure for high-temperature media;
Flow Requirement: Match the nominal diameter according to the actual flow range; prioritize DN1-DN10 models for small flows;
Connection Method: Select threaded or flange connection based on pipeline design to ensure installation compatibility.
