Definition of DBB Forged Double Block and Bleed Ball Valve
The "Double Block and Bleed Isolation Principle" requires two isolating valves in series and one bleed valve, which are used to discharge or drain the trapped fluid between the two closing elements, so as to safely isolate the downstream pipeline. This function can be realized by a single valve with a bleed port, which is located between the two valve plugs.
