A needle valve is a type of valve with precision flow/pressure regulation function. Its core feature lies in the precise matching structure of a "needle-shaped valve core" and a "conical valve seat," belonging to a special category of globe valves.
By rotating the handwheel to drive the needle-shaped valve core to move axially, it changes the tiny gap between the valve core and the valve seat, thereby accurately controlling the on-off or flow rate of fluids (gases, liquids) while achieving excellent sealing performance (with minimal leakage under high pressure).
Due to its precise structure, it is suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature, or low-flow working conditions. It is widely used in scenarios such as instrument measurement systems (e.g., cut-off/regulation before pressure gauges), fine adjustment of hydraulic systems, and sampling of high-temperature and high-pressure pipelines, serving as a key component for precise fluid control.
