Products Description
Definition of High-Temperature and High-Pressure Ball Valve
The high-temperature and high-pressure hard-sealed ball valve is widely used in various hydrogenation units such as coal tar hydrogenation and residue ebullated bed hydrogenation. The working conditions of hydrogenation units are extremely harsh (high temperature, high pressure, hydrogen service, hydrogen sulfide-rich environment, and containing catalyst particles), which puts forward high requirements for the valve's material selection, sealing pair matching, and gap design. Based on the working condition characteristics of hydrogenation units, Antway has carried out targeted R&D on ball valves for hydrogenation units on the basis of rigorous thermodynamic calculations and relying on a large number of simulation tests and data analysis, making them an ideal choice for high-pressure ball valves used in hydrogenation units.

Product Features of High-Temperature and High-Pressure Ball Valve
High Temperature and High Pressure Resistance: Adopting materials such as high-temperature alloys and heat-resistant steels, it can withstand high temperature and high pressure difference. The general temperature resistance range is -196℃ to 800℃, and the pressure resistance class ranges from PN10 to PN100, or even higher.
Reliable Sealing: The sealing surface of the valve seat adopts special materials and processing technologies (such as metal hard seal or soft seal) to ensure excellent sealing performance under high temperature and high pressure.
Wear and Erosion Resistance: The surfaces of key components such as the valve core and valve seat undergo hardening treatment or use wear-resistant materials, which can resist erosion and wear caused by high-temperature and high-pressure fluids.
Flexible Operation: The valve stem transmission part adopts high-temperature resistant materials and a self-lubricating structure to ensure that the valve operates easily and opens/closes flexibly under high temperature and high pressure.
Fire and Static Electricity Protection: Some high-temperature and high-pressure ball valves are equipped with fire and static electricity protection functions to prevent safety accidents caused by fire or static electricity.
Structural Principle of High-Temperature and High-Pressure Ball Valve
High-temperature and high-pressure valves refer to valves with a temperature higher than 450℃ and a nominal pressure of PN 100 Bar. This type of valve usually adopts a metal sealing form. The special high-temperature ball valves provided by our company can withstand a maximum temperature of 800℃, which can meet the requirements of most working conditions. They can be widely used in harsh industrial environments such as petroleum and petrochemical, nuclear power, thermal power, iron and steel, and aerospace.
For PTFE-sealed ball valves, the maximum temperature for long-term use under high-temperature conditions should not exceed 200℃. Therefore, to be used at high temperatures, we replace the valve seat with special metals and perform flame spraying treatment on the valve core according to different working conditions to achieve sufficient pressure resistance and temperature resistance characteristics.
