Products Description
Definition of Union Welded Type High-Pressure Ball Valve
The union welded type high-pressure ball valve adopts specific sealing technology, which can be applied to harsh media and meet the requirements of various working conditions.
Special sealed valve seat packing at the ball: POM (Polyoxymethylene) sealing, featuring excellent high-pressure resistance and internal leakage prevention. A certain proportion of manganese dioxide is added to POM to adapt to harsh low-temperature weather, with a temperature range of -40℃~+550℃.
Corrosion-resistant metal protective ring: In the compressed gas industry, valves require high opening pressure, especially for compressed natural gas (CNG). Therefore, our factory adopts a special design of POM sealing combined with a corrosion-resistant metal protective ring, which prevents gas from directly contacting the POM valve body seal, ensures the sealing effect of the ball valve to a certain extent, and avoids internal leakage.
Special sealing at the valve stem to prevent external leakage: It is mainly used in the gas dispenser industry, with a service life of at least 200,000 cycles. The pneumatic high-pressure ball valve adopts a structure that directly connects the ball valve and the actuator device, connected by special connecting parts to reduce friction, thereby extending the service life.
Working Principle of Union Welded Type High-Pressure Ball Valve
The valve body is divided into three parts at the two valve seat positions along the cross-section perpendicular to the axis of the valve passage. The entire valve is symmetric left and right along the central axis of the valve stem, and is mainly used in pipelines for cutting off, distributing, and changing the medium flow direction.
The large pivot structure ensures the accurate central position of the ball under high pressure, guaranteeing the excellent operating performance of the valve.
The standard valve seat adopts a spring structure, which pushes the valve seat against the ball to ensure bidirectional sealing performance at the inlet and outlet.
The valve body cavity can discharge outward through the built-in drain valve.
The pivot adopts a blowout-proof protective structure to prevent leakage. Bearings with a low friction coefficient minimize the torque, facilitating the opening and closing of the valve.
Features of Union Welded Type High-Pressure Ball Valve
Among various valves, the ball valve has extremely low flow resistance. When a full-bore ball valve is open, the ball passage, valve body passage, and connecting pipe diameter are equal and form a straight path, allowing the medium to flow through with almost no loss.
The ball valve can be fully closed or fully open by rotating 90°, enabling fast opening and closing. Compared with gate valves and globe valves of the same specification, the ball valve has a smaller volume and lighter weight, facilitating pipeline installation.
On-Off Indication: The ball, valve stem, and handle are the moving parts of the valve and form an assembly unit. The valve stem head adopts a square structure, allowing easy identification of whether the valve is in the open or closed position from the handle position.
Valve Locking Device: To prevent misoperation of the valve, the valve can be locked at the fully open and fully closed positions.
