Products Description
Definition of Ultra-High Pressure Angle Needle Valve
The ultra-high pressure angle needle valve features high pressure resistance, high temperature resistance, and a long service life. Its valve tip moves vertically without rotation. As an important component in instrument measurement pipeline systems, it has advantages such as easy installation and disassembly, secure connection, fire resistance, high pressure-bearing capacity, and excellent sealing performance. It is a connecting valve widely used in power stations, oil refining facilities, chemical plants, and instrument measurement pipelines.

Working Principle of Ultra-High Pressure Angle Needle Valve
The angle needle valve controls the on-off of fluid or adjusts the flow rate through the lifting movement of the valve core (needle-shaped cone). The valve core moves along the centerline of the fluid. When the handwheel is rotated, the valve stem drives the needle-shaped valve core to make conical sealing contact with or separate from the valve seat:
- Closed State: Rotate the handwheel clockwise, the valve core is pressed down and tightly fits the valve seat, forming a conical seal to completely block the fluid.
- Open State: Rotate the handwheel counterclockwise, the valve core rises to form a tiny gap, and the fluid flows through the gap; the flow rate increases as the opening degree increases.
Structural Characteristics of Ultra-High Pressure Angle Needle Valve
- Right-Angle Design: The inlet and outlet are at a 90° right angle, suitable for pipeline layouts with limited space or requiring flow direction change, reducing the use of elbows.
- Needle-Shaped Valve Core: The taper is usually 5°~30°, and the slender design enables micron-level flow regulation, which is applicable to high-pressure and low-flow scenarios (e.g., 0.1mL/min).
- Seal Type: Metal hard seal is adopted to ensure zero leakage under high pressure and corrosive media conditions.
Operation Instructions of Ultra-High Pressure Angle Needle Valve
- Lifting and Rotating Rod Type: The handwheel and valve stem rotate and lift synchronously, with the nut fixed on the valve body, ensuring easy operation and low torque.
- Double Seal System: Some models are equipped with packing seals (e.g., graphite) and O-rings to prevent valve stem leakage and resist loosening due to vibration.
- Pressure and Temperature Resistance: The valve body can be made of materials such as 316 stainless steel and Hastelloy, with a wide operating temperature range (-45°C to 450°C), suitable for harsh environments such as high-temperature steam, acid-base media, etc.
Application Fields of Ultra-High Pressure Angle Needle Valve
- High-Pressure Systems: Such as instrument pipelines in petrochemical industry (20000 PSI), feedwater control of power boilers.
- Precision Control: Laboratory equipment (gas chromatographs), semiconductor manufacturing (high-purity gas regulation).
- Safety Requirements: With fire and explosion-proof design, it is suitable for pipelines carrying hazardous media such as coal gas and natural gas.
